From Fraga to Granja d'Escarp

We start from Fraga, capital of the "West fringe" at the province of Huesca. During our tour, literally we paddle down the administrative border between Aragon and Catalonia.

This is a technical tour. Although low difficulty, it is whitewater. We use open kayaks, but also can choose closed ones. They have a small watertight compartment for personal belongings.

As in all other trades, includes initial session explaining the route and technical and safety above all.

Actually, it is very difficult to find anyone else in the river and in general, if you choose this option, you will have a day where you combine the enjoyment of silence in the calm stretches, the adrenaline flows and leaps that we will find and of course , so close to nature with its lush riparian forest.

In fact, the arrival is in full "Aiguabarreig" (rivers meeting point) where the rivers Segre and Cinca jointly arrive at the Ebre area especially rich in birds and fish.

The village of Torrente de Cinca it's half way, and the grass "beach" is a good place to get have a rest; explain our emotions of the route or eat something.

Even if you feel like going on, the route can be extended 50 min. more until Mequinenza, it is usually finished on the left bank, at the village called Granja d'Escarp, it is also the end of the stretch of whitewater.
