La Trona

Short, easy and funny Via Ferrata. Good choice to start in ferrata's world. The rappel is just an option and the best thing is that we can repeat it, as many times as you want.

Located in La Mussara -Vilaplana (near Reus - Tarragona). The former village of La Mussara is nowadays unoccupied. The rests of the church is from 1859.

Recently, there is the option of enjoying also the via ferrata. The ferrata of La Trona is on the Prades Mountains. It has a short distance of 35 ', but it worths knowing this ferrata.

It overcomes a height difference of 90 meters and its difficulty is easy. But if you decide to do the rappel on the way back, it gives you a little vertigo: attractive on thir route.

Walk approach is just 15 minutes, like the way back. Nepalese bridge consists of a 2-meter and the only difficulty might be the rappel to the uninitiated, but has no technical difficulty and there is the possibility of not doing the rappel (10 meters) and return trough a path that leads at the starting point again.

Built in May 2007, is a very good ferrata to start. Besides the great views of the Costa Dorada once on top, it is noteworthy that the main attraction of the Via is that, once finished, we can redo as many times as you want, because the end is near the starting point.
